This set was purchased to be used as a base layer for morning dunk hunts (approx 34F) with a long sleeve shirt and hunting coat. Works pretty well, fits well (I'm a 6ft 1 and 220lb guy) so no complaints here either. They fit snugly against the skin, so wearing them under tighter outdoor gear isn't a problem (at least for me). Odors when the clothes are taken out of the packaging (I know this bothers some people). One tip though - hang/air dry after washing if possible - they retain their softness and insulating properties longer.
