Review on PUMA Fasten8 Men's Ignite Golf Shoe by Ron Houston

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fantastic, but take the sizing recommendations seriously.

First of all, I really like the shoes. Stable even with a strong swing. The cleats stay on even when the grass is a little wet or I step off the sand (I've had other non-studded golf shoes that weren't as good). It was comfortable from the first lap - after three or four warm up laps they are extremely comfortable - I need that as I walk when I can. But . I read Puma's reviews and recommendations before purchasing and bought a 9.5 instead of my usual 10. That too was too big. They were given back a pair of nines that fitted perfectly. Ordering a full size smaller than usual was a little strange, but other than that it's just a really good shoe. Yes, you can certainly buy shoes for a lot less. what if you leave The average base golf course is 6,800-7,000 yards (about 4 miles) on the rating chart. Actual average walking distance is 6.6 miles - folks did the research. They don't follow the course in a straight line (walking back and forth on fairways, etc., etc.). Running 10km twice a weekend in cheap shoes isn't good for your feet. Or knees. Or back. This shoe is on the expensive end of the spectrum but worth the money in my opinion.
