Don't know what they are for. Bought to fix the walls of a wooden box. They are not very strong, but also very torn. It is necessary to remove burrs from each edge when dealing with the finished part. They're not worth returning, so toss them on the 'stuff pile' for a project that doesn't require slick hardware or high-strength reinforcement.
