Great LA Street Tires

I have an old and weathered 24 speed road bike that still handles well (looks like the routes will last). I bought this tire at my local bike shop after blowing out my rear tire and noticing how badly it was tearing. I was looking for an alligator skin line but they didn't have it in 25mm. I like a thickness of 2-3mm because it is more comfortable in turns. Although this tire weighs a little more than an Alligator, it still handles very well. I'm driving through the urban rot of Los Angeles where the tires have caught road debris and I have a puncture. Not with these. I had this tire on my rear wheel for about 130 miles before I bought it for my front wheel. Now that I have both bikes with these tires they ride even better and offer a great combination of traction and some tread. Due to the lack of weather changes, I can only speak of spring-summer ski conditions. I've ridden in the rain a few times, no problem; But judging by the slight profile on the side/wall I believe there are better tires for all weather conditions. Maybe they need to be checked for cracks and tread every 50-100 miles before riding. On these supersports I just need to check the air pressure because I like to ride at a max pressure of 120psi and occasionally deflate a pump or two and still ride great. All in all, for a set of street tires priced under $70, these are great tires for summer city/town riding.
