Great printer

I've been doing 3D CAD since 2001 and bought my first printer in 2015, a Makerbot Mini. a tool for designing robots and other tech stuff that prints multiple times a week My Makerbot finally collapsed last week due to a power outage. All of this just so you know I'm just a regular 3D printer and will not take advantage of this review. a few days earlier. The artillery box was packed in a Revain box, big and heavy. As you can see from hundreds of YouTube videos, it arrived very well packaged and undamaged. The installation went quickly and easily. The Z-axis bed and casters needed slight adjustment and I adjusted the Y-axis (bed) strap a little tighter. Everything was installed in 10-15 minutes. The reviews I read say it came with optional V tires. I had 2 extra v-rolls: a camp and all i guess. Also included was a 9mm and 10mm forged wrench, extra screws, USB stick, extra ribbon cables etc. Some YouTube videos show some extruder parts like fan guide, extruder cap etc printed on a 3D printer . They upgraded them to be injection molded which makes them look more professional. bed motor. The bed base position sensor was obviously not working. The wire from it goes through a hole in the base. I don't want to open the case and void the warranty, so "don't know" what the problem is. I emailed the manufacturer asking for help. I tried again and again, turning the machine off and on again, and after about 7 attempts at doing "this and that" (loosening the sensor, looking at it, etc.) it started to work properly. Since then it has always worked. I don't know what was going on, which worries me a little. But I believe it's covered by a one-year manufacturer's warranty and I'll be using it a lot, so we'll see. I also have to say that I got a response to my problem from Artillery within an hour or so. Yes there is a language barrier and wanted a video of the trouble but the machine was already running. They seemed genuinely interested in what was wrong with their car, which put my mind at rest regarding the issue I was having. As for the car, I'm really excited. closed door because it was so damn loud and annoying (really). You know those stepper motor sounds that just crash into your brain after a while. This artillery is so quiet that I literally set it to print a two hour job, closed my eyes and fell asleep sitting right next to it (it was an evening after work). ). I'm not sure how they made it so quiet, but this is important to me. I used to use Makerbot Slicer on the latest machine and now I'm learning Cura. The machine produces very good prints with the default profiles downloaded from the Artillery website. . The print quality on it cannot be compared to my old Makerbot mini. You have to look very closely to find a defect. I only have a cheap crappy PLA spool and am very keen to experiment with other materials. I didn't really care about the print quality when making robot parts, but yeah it's nice. One big thing about my old Makerbot was that it was my "old trusty one". Although it was noisy and made small prints of comparatively poor quality, it was extremely reliable. Maybe 1 in 30 or 40 prints failed. So far everything is fine with the artillery, but time will tell.
