Review on ☕ 4-Cup Stovetop Espresso Maker - Classic and Rich Brews Moka Pot for Italian Cuban Coffee by Cynthia Good

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Simple, cheap, decent Espresso

I bought this coffee maker for a promotion. CONSTRUCTION: Love that it's not aluminum. All parts seem to work well, although I suspect I will need to find a replacement gasket between the top and bottom of the unit very soon. PREPARATION: For best results I recommend using a low boiling point of water. This is a slower brewing process, but the espresso will appear thicker than at a higher temperature. This is a more traditional method than fancy cars, less expensive, more authentic. CLEANING: I had no problems with cleaning. I hit the filter on the inside of the bin hard and most of the espresso powder fell out easily. The rest could be washed and rinsed in the sink. GENERAL: It is not known how long the rubber gasket between the two sections will last, but it is effective in making espresso that is not as thick. It's an inexpensive fallback for my fancy espresso machine.
