Review on Fel Pro VS50562R Valve Cover Set by John Galbraith

My order was actually damaged and I got my money back before it even got to me, but I bought the same product from my local auto parts store so I'll be writing a review. It works great but on my car it kept falling out of the valve cover (there was room for it and it could only go one way) so I had to use gasket glue/sealant (for lack of a better word). . I ended up having to remove the valve cover twice as the spark plug boot somehow folded inward when the cover was installed and caught on the metal the gasket made a seal with allowing a small amount of oil to seep into the spark plug tube and I'm glad that was the case. I noticed that the oil was leaking out (hence the sealant), and when I put it back in a second time, I made sure each bolt was *tight*. A few users I've seen on YouTube have reported that their gasket warped when they tightened it all the way, but this may not be due to the design of my nephew's machine. The one I got was also blue, much lighter than this black one, but made by the same company. This price, I also say, is $10 cheaper than the exact same price at the store, so it's preferable for those who are saving money and aren't encumbered with living in time.
