The only thing I knew about e-collars before reading this book was what I saw around me - for the most part was there someone who abused his dog and abused it with an electronic collar. collar, and it's heartbreaking to see. It really comes as no surprise that e-collars are notorious and illegal in some parts of the world. Instead, I would say that e-collars are objectionable UNLESS you follow the correct pre-training and education process outlined in this program. You need to take the time to introduce your dog to the collar and teach him how to use it so he doesn't get scared or hurt. This book costs $5 on a Kindle! Unless you're dealing with a dangerously aggressive dog and are motivated to train yourself, this book has pretty much everything you need besides treats and an e-collar. The book itself is short and to the point (unlike this review lol), it comes with homework printouts and videos to outline the steps you need to take. The combination of all this makes learning and saving easier. Walking my dog has become a boring, repetitive cycle around our property because it's too big and too wild to let her roam around unless she listens to my commands. . I'm looking forward to slowly starting to give her freedom back, step by step! Hooray!
