I have a Ryobi RE 601 plunge milling machine. The collet broke. The nut portion was ok. I looked for a replacement part and found it cost about $40! .if you could find it as they listed this part as obsolete. (Great marketing idea). What I did then was put the nut in my pocket. Went to Home Depot and tested the mother on every router they had. Wow, Ryobi changed the thread pattern but it suits Bosch perfectly! Well, it didn't take a neurosurgeon to figure that out. I found the part number for a Bosch milling collet and ordered it. I now have a "Ryoboschbi" hybrid router that works great. Kind of makes you think. I should have gotten a Bosch router first!
