Although the bag looks stained, it doesn't look like new. I bought this product based on the product reviews but am really disappointed. Unfortunately I will no longer buy this product. I think I'll buy a new bag or try a different product. I will post additional reviews when I use it to see if it stains my clothes. It didn't smear. However, the painting didn't take long and the bag needs another coat of paint. I bought another bag to replace the one I drew as the bag doesn't look fancy.
