First impression before use was pretty good. Pulling them out, I was pleasantly surprised by the feel of these filters. These are durable things made entirely of metal. Far from flimsy like most dust filters, these things do have a certain build quality. made of a small metal wire across in a metal frame. Usually they are like a screen in a window. In comparison, they are much less restrictive than traditional air filters. The only problem I have is that I can't use them exactly. My case has a very strange front fan mounting system that uses long screws (like heatsink screws) and the raised screw holes on these filters prevent the screw from reaching my case's screw holes. So I think I'll change my case. But in any normal case with a normal fan mount, they should be great.
