Inadequate airflow is best in HVAC
This filter restricts airflow too much. This will cause your fan motor to work harder, the heat exchanger will not get enough airflow and heat up, and the AC coil will almost freeze. I have felt a difference in airflow from my vents which have been replaced with the regular Lennox Merv 13 filter and now mine is working 100% again. It may cost you a few dollars for filters, but it will be expensive in the long run.
