This is a 3-star product that I have given a 4th star to, just because mine looks so darn great. The cons: The Seat: It's too small. It needs to be 2 inches bigger around to be truly useful. leather on the seat is paper-thin. I only weigh 140, and the seat leather was stretched, creased and deformed after me sitting on it for 1 minute. I think we are on a pretty short countdown until it tears. The base: It needs to be about 2 inches bigger around to be stable. Tolerances: There is a cap the sits on top of the pedestal, and it is secured to the pedestal with 3 screws. The screw holes do not line up. I was able to get one screw in, and all this cap does is sit there, so as long as you can get one in, it's not a deal-breaker. The Footrest: Needs to be 2 inches higher. My feet dangle above it unless I screw the seat almost all the way down. Only then can I rest my feet on the bar. If you are a tall person, say 5"10" or taller, it works okay, but then you still wouldn't want to sit there because of the seat and base size problems noted above would make it very unstable for you. Great concept, they just need to refine the execution a little more.
