Great cage with many flaws?

If I just looked at the design of this cage I would give it 5 stars. This is a solid cage once assembled and possibly the best design on the market from what I've seen and had. However, I subtracted stars for the horrible quality control in the Midwest. However, I bought this cage with anticipation, and so should you. I will describe my experience to help future buyers. You need a rubber mallet. This is not a no-tool assembly. You may need to nail some of the details into their intended shape. Some of my parts were deformed or bent. One side of my door wouldn't even open at first, but I was able to fix that with my trusty hammer. Pieces of plastic were inserted into some of the holes so they would not lose their shape. They are very difficult to remove by hand. A pair of pliers can help here. I pushed away the protruding ones below with something (pliers were not at hand). They say that the grids for the bottom of the cage and the bottom of the base have a different pitch. They are identical. Choose the flattest bottom of the cage. I encountered a blob of paint blocking assembly on one of the base pieces, but I managed to flip it over. If it doesn't matter which direction the part faces, try this. I'm a little woman who doesn't assemble furniture. The single story cage took me about an hour with all the adjustments I needed to make. None of the pieces were so damaged that I couldn't finish them, but I braced myself for the possibility. Your experience can be better or worse than mine. I don't regret my purchase. Just go prepared if you decide to buy this! To be honest Midwest should pay me back for all the extra build.
