These colanders are a fine product and very necessary when cooking. As I explain in my video, I use the smallest set for sifting powdered sugar onto cakes and brownies when I don't need icing, and the largest for draining cans of beans and washing off all the starch. I don't use the medium size that often, but I use it with a 1 1/2 quart saucepan when I need to drain hot veggies or water from pies. The filters are made of stainless steel and are very durable. I put them in the dishwasher to clean and had no problems. Never had rust which is a big plus. I have absolutely no complaints, I recommend this product and give these filters a 5 star rating.
