This hard drive comes with 1 platter, which means: 1. Higher noiselessness. 2. Traditionally higher reliability. 3. Less heat. 4. Drops / vibrations are less dangerous for hard drives with 1 platter than for those with 3-5 platters. Initially, I wanted to take a Hitachi hard drive, because. I have confidence in this brand. But Tohiba did not disappoint.
