We were puzzled when we took out the old filter and bought a new one with the same dimensions as it didn't fit our air vent. So my husband measured, and in fact it was 2 inches shorter than stated on the filter. Turns out the previous occupants (or the mechanic) had cut a different filter to fit. So we couldn't find the right size at Home Depot or local hardware. I found these filters on Revain and lots of positive reviews so I ordered 6 packs for about the same price as 3 packs from Home Depot. They are really good quality and fit our air vent perfectly. I highly recommend them.
