I ordered this to get rid of dust and cobwebs on my stairs where the height made cleaning almost impossible and for the basement as I needed something flexible for the exposed ceiling. The device arrived in a small box with few parts (3 cleaning tips and a pen) and didn't look very sturdy. After rolling it up I was pleased to find that it was just as strong as a similar one I had previously ordered. When extended, it reached about 9 feet to the top corner of the landing without the use of ladders or other dangerous devices. This allowed me to reach and remove all the dust and cobwebs, which I used to only be able to do a few times a year. This doesn't mean you don't have to be careful, as you need to focus on the ceiling, walls, and stairs at the same time to avoid injury. Even when fully extended, it's a bit heavy and tends to fall off quickly, with no wall or ledge to lean on. All ends are easy to clean as they are microfiber and can be removed and thrown in the wash. .Overall I am impressed that it is quite long and durable and does the job required. I am rating this product 5 stars because it easily solved my stairwell cleaning problem and is also great for ceiling patching. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary.
