As I have read in other reviews. I, like many others, try to use this PCI slot hidden under the GPU. I read about a guy who ground down some of his GPU's cooling fins to fit underneath. I couldn't bear that thought. I figured it would be better to cut off about 1/8 inch of the PCIe connector. Make it a solid eighth. I used meat shears and a file to cut it. Card without having to give up my Claro Halo. Advice. Practice on a short cable, then use a longer one. Don't lean towards the ground as your mobo sits. Bend up and away from the lock plate. Here you will see. When tipped down and over the striker plate, the pins break/break and spread. Much luck.
