Which application works with it?

I tried this first with the Tourq app (free) which connected but had a confusing interface and said there were no codes which I hardly ever did Had problems with the engine off and the ABS light on. I also tried the OBD Link and OBD Mary apps. They wouldn't even join. I tried two different Samsung phones running Android 6. I'm willing to pay for the app, but first I want to make sure it works. Otherwise I'll send it back.
