It charges my MacBook Pro from an old magnesia safe, but.

Thing works, but a few things are a bit odd: First, the charger's green light never comes on, which means I don't know when it's done charging. Second, it gets quite warm when connected to magsafe but not my MacBook Pro, which is a bit of a concern. But my laptop is charging.
