My husband got me one of these as a gift a couple years ago. I really hate vacuuming so it is nice to have and good considering the price. What it will do: clean up dust, pet hair, etc. on the floor pretty well. The downsides: not a very "smart” vacuum—has its patterns that it runs but will sometimes need to be redirected/redeployed to get every part of a large room. Occasionally get stuck. Needs a bit of babysitting—I wouldn’t just turn it on and leave the house. There isn’t much space for dust in there so you really don’t want to wait until your floor is very dirty to run it because it will fill up quickly (especially if you have pets) and once full will just leave little clumps of dust around. If you’re willing to empty it regularly, carry it back to it’s charging cord, do a bit of babysitting to make sure it isn’t stuck under a cabinet, it really does beat rolling a heavy vacuum around and it can get under furniture that the regular vacuum can’t. For the price, it does a good job, and mine is still doing well after two years. You do also have to clean hair out of the little rotating "whiskers” and from around the wheels periodically. It is my first robot vacuum and I am considering spending the money to get a better model, but really, as decent a job as this little inexpensive one does, I would almost hate to spend several hundred dollars.
