Pretty flimsy on this product! We used it at the bottom of the stairs for our one year old pup. It was fairly easy to install (make sure you find a stud, DO NOT use anchors in drywall. I've learned this from experience) and once installed (in a stud) it held up to constant movement fairly well. It was easy for my five year old to maneuver, but wasn't usually that easy with one hand. Where I'm very frustrated is the cheap hardware. The bottom latch broke after about a month of use. The gate is useless to us now as the kid and pup go right under it and go up the stairs. For this reason I'm giving it a two star rating. We really hoped this goal would stand up to family life.
