I bought this to keep dogs out of the garage when we work outside with the garage door open. It installed super quick and easy. The fasteners are made of heavy plastic and are very durable. It starts and pulls out with no problems. I have 3 dogs, one of each size. My small dog can see us through the gate which is great. My average dog can see over. She can even stand on the trellis. We bought it around May 5th and by the end of the month it was already broken. We placed it in a high traffic area near the front door so we used it a lot. I originally bought two of these for a custom molded door where other standard baby gates wouldn't work (due to baseboards and moldings). I put a lot of effort into installing this gate and the end result is not very attractive or efficient. I used a level and made custom shims to ensure these gates installed correctly and still had issues. 1. It seemed to lift up very easily and wouldn't latch onto the wall mount at first and then it seemed to latch very well but we couldn't get it back off and it does designed to move. Whatever we lift, move or switch (part B1) will not come off.
