There is a factory hole about 15mm in diameter on the left side of the air bridge. My 2002 c5 didn't have an aperture sensor or connector. Called BBK, they didn't seem to have an answer so I went to a hardware store and found a right size press plug, mixed up some JB weld to secure the plug, painted the air bridge to match the Vette color (looks nice) and installed cold air setting. It has been in testing for several months and there have been no problems with my plug. Can't say I've noticed an increase in power, but compared to the factory intake I have to believe the intake side of the engine breathes cooler.
