I'm not sure why all the complaints about GM FOB inventory being glued together isn't this supplier's fault. Yes I had to cut my old 2014 FOB with a dremel. It took 5 minutes. Instead of cutting a dual track key at the locksmith shop I just followed the instructions and knocked out the roll pin and then the key blade slid out and fitted into the new FOB. Five minutes. If you do not wind the spring properly, the key blade will work erratically. Just follow the instructions. All in all 15 minutes for everything. No programming, no trips to the locksmith to shorten the key and a lot of money saved
