This was a fun project to turn my pocket curtains into eyelet curtains. The hardest part was making the first cut of perfect curtains! The sleeve is wide enough to fully cover the raw edge and the circle drawn on the fabric, so it's very forgiving. At first we carefully cut out the circles which made attaching the grommets tricky, but once we were sure we weren't ruining the curtains it got a lot easier. And finding a template at the bottom of the bag (about halfway through the project) helped a lot too! :) To get the height above the grommet we cut through the edge of the rod pocket. I was concerned about the extra thickness but had no issues. The pads simply snap into place. I bought a matte coffee color which is very good.
