Finally a blanket that combines my love of cats with my obsession with Star Trek! First, this blanket purrs. he is so soft This is the softest blanket I have ever owned or touched in my life. To be honest I'm worried about how it will hold up after several washes, I really don't want it to curl up and get scratchy. Second, cat officers are so wonderful. They're exactly how I think the characters would look if they were a bridge crew of cats, rather than the multicultural chowder we all know and love. Captain Picard's cat, with its hairless head and body, is hysterically replaced with a Sphynx cat. I love how some of the cats look tired and lethargic, like normal cats going about their normal feline activities. This blanket is slightly smaller than my previous blankets. and yet it's so warm and snuggly and soft you might not even notice. Another thing to know is that the next generation image is only on one side of the quilt.
