I got this blanket as a gift for my girlfriend's wife. She's into comics, Syfi, MCU, etc. and also has cats. I thought she would find it very funny but she loves it and it's actually very soft and comfortable. If you're looking for a cute gift for Trekkie or another sci-fi loving friend, this is a great option!

I have two of these for my cat and my daughter who loves Star Trek: - TOS - TNG They are a good size and thicker than I expected on other reviews. Think medium thickness. Not skinny, but not Sherpa level either. The thickness is really good. They are also unexpectedly super soft. They are, of course, absolutely terrible. But she loves them! CONCLUSION: Warm. Soft. cozy. Disgusting. Here it is.

This gets five stars because it's adorable but three stars because it's too thin for a sherpa blanket so I divided the difference and gave it four. That's not a thick blanket. While technically it has a sherpa lining, it's a thin sherpa lining and the comforter is actually pretty light, not very warm and not really great for snuggling up on chilly nights.
