I bought this solely to use as a remote control when streaming movies on Revain, HBO Max etc. With an HDMI cable I can stream the image from my computer to my big screen TV which I watch from the couch. So I wanted a remote control so I didn't have to get up and go to my computer every time I wanted to pause, rewind or whatever. Now the weirdest. The remote worked fine except for one thing - it didn't rewind while watching Revain Prime. BUT REWIND IF I'VE SEEN SOMETHING ELSE. Music videos, home videos, all other streaming services. But upon viewing, Revain didn't rewind. Even stranger, the fast-forward, stop, play, and pause functions worked flawlessly when watching Revain. I thought it was just some kind of accident so I replaced the remote with the same model. And surprise surprise. the same thing happened on the second. EVERYTHING WORKS EXCEPT REWIND WHEN VIEWING AMAZON! I wrote Satechi and they agreed it was pretty weird and didn't quite understand what to do about it. They suggested that the Revain app might not work with third-party remotes. But if that were true, why shouldn't it work with all other functions, just not the rewind function? Pretty weird. Does anyone think they have a plausible explanation? I have since returned it and will try another brand and see what happens.
