We have had a very good experience with the purchase and delivery of the Electrified XL-2100 projection lamp. Our 7 year old Sony 42 inch LCD projection lamp was wasted on Wednesday afternoon and on Friday afternoon we received a replacement lamp and the TV was up and running about 15 minutes after the replacement. We paid extra for next day delivery because I don't want to be without the TV at the weekend. I believe the bulb and shipping is $69. Our local TV dealer wanted $200 for the bulb and $150 for shipping and installation. Installation was easy as I followed the manufacturer's instructions from the original manual. I kept the one that came with the TV. At Sony, it was a very easy exchange. We've had the new lamp for about a month now and so far so good. I hope this lamp will last another 7 years as the HD picture on this TV is excellent.
