Hadn't thought to check - but another reviewer mentioned it. My device did not work out of the box (the devices connected to it were not powered). When I took it apart and checked for continuity in various places, I found that the solder joint was not always continuous. When I checked, a piece of solder had fallen off and the wire was now free to move, confirming the cold soldering problem. The repair was fairly easy and less complicated than sending the device back, but obviously QC on a "less expensive" device is a compromise decision made here in the AMZN world.
