Review on 🚪 meross Smart Garage Door Opener Remote with APP Control - Compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant, and SmartThings - Multiple Notification Modes - No Hub Required by David Vargas

Appears to be a complete failure of my Craftsman 1.25 HP Belt Drive Smart Garage Door Opener. Even though my model number is listed in the compatibility list in the app settings, this device did not activate the garage door opener. I followed the instructions EXACTLY as outlined in the quick install guide. I even tried the possibility of connecting the device directly to the wallboard controller as suggested. When I tried to open the garage door remotely, I heard a faint click, but nothing happened. When I plugged it into my wallboard, I heard a faint click and my wallboard restarted. So either I got a defective product or it's just not compatible. I'm above average when it comes to technical things, so I know I did everything right. I think the price was too good to be true. I hope others have better luck than me. BTW, that device wouldn't be necessary, but Sears sold the Craftsman brand to Black and Decker, and the app that came with my knife is dead. Well, I might have better luck with Chamberlain.
