This mop is great. We have an old house from the 50s with linoleum in the kitchen, three pugs who bring dirt into the house from the backyard and often lick the floor. Cleans the floor in our kitchen very well. it glides smoothly on hard surfaces, does not stick or cut. I was concerned about mopping after having such dirty floors. Luckily the mat is attached with velcro and can be thrown in the wash. The mop's low profile means it slides between the fridge and storage wall. Another (very practical) plus.
