Four of my six earring holes have closed after years of inactivity. I wanted them to reopen, but even if Claire was still open locally, I really didn't want to pay more than $40 for it. I'm too cowardly, just put the earring in. Then it occurred to me to check out Revane for the little one-shots that Claire uses. These really are just perfect. They come with alcohol swabs to prepare the skin's surface, you can point the earring tip to the exact spot, a slight click and you're done. The earring is placed in a small tear-off pouch that releases the shock immediately after piercing. The device and everything goes straight into the trash can and voila. As these were previous piercings there were no real complaints. One ear had scar tissue, making it a bit more difficult to penetrate. but it was barely perceptible. You can't go wrong with surgical steel either. Delighted with such a cheap choice. I highly recommend it.
