Review on 💪 Cougar CMX700: High-Performance 700W Semi-Modular Power Supply - 80 Plus Bronze Certified by Edward Noble

Looks great, very solid construction. I like the idea of having 2 independent 12v rails. It is semi-modular so it comes with motherboard and 2 fixed 6+2 pin headers (CPU/PCIE) and all other cables are detachable. I use it together with the second power supply. to power my ETH mining rig with 4 GTX 1070. I have 600W (motherboard + SATA + 2x 1070 + 2 PCIe slots) + this 700W (2 GTX 1070 + 2 PCIe slots). With Kill-a-Watt on both power supplies. It consumes around 620W (70% power cap in afterburner settings, -200 cores, +740 RAM) with 4x Zotac 1070 mini and delivers a constant 32MHz speed at 55°C / 55 fan% This power supply is as quiet as possible. Pretty sure it only puts out 250W so the fan never kicks in. So if you use it on a regular gaming PC with only 1 GPU, most likely it won't make any noise at all.
