Advantages and disadvantages. - Fish & Aquatic Animals

I used it as a quick little filter to start my shrimp tank. Pros: + very quiet + powerful (too much for my 3G) + easy to set up and flow rate adjustment + additional tank space for additional filter material. Cons: If the pump inlet fails, it hurts to snap it back into place. It was easier for me to remove the filter from the tank, empty it and dry it, it's very difficult. - a small insert of filter material in the packaging. Lots of space in a real filter, the space just isn't being used properly.
