Looks good, similar to the description but I understand most people use these shields for Raspberry Pi projects and the risers provide good spacing for this Pi to avoid short circuits. but unless the risers can be easily removed for a lower profile project, the canvas loses its versatility. To remove the riser, I had to use a combination of a heavy vise, gentle prying with a screwdriver, and plain old hate. I ended up pulling a few pins out of the circuit board and had to try and scratch the circuit board with a screwdriver. Let's hope it works when I fall. But I doubt it. I am not a soft person.
