Let me start by saying I HAVE to buy this. If you need to dress up your tires for a car show or auto show, this is a great choice. It provides a jet black shine that lasts for days when the car is not driven. I cannot recommend this product to anyone else. I've used various Griot products over the years and this is the first one I've come across that doesn't work. I've experimented for months and tried over 10 car washes to get this to work. The challenge is using enough product to achieve a high shine without using too much or oiling the hair. Using a very small amount can avoid the snare, but you will get a matte shine that won't last more than 48 hours. To add any shine worth mentioning, get a sling! Then the sling has to be washed off the car and literally glues the wheels together. I would like to point out that I always let the product dry for at least 12 hours (much longer than the 20 minutes that Griot's takes). No matter how much you use, whether you get a sling or not, durability is also a big disappointment. If you detail a car at the weekend, the shine will be gone by the middle of the week. I used the Chemical Guys VRP which worked well but I wanted it to look shinier. Unfortunately it didn't fit.
