This digital microscope has a nice and large screen and the magnification is ideal for working with circuits. I can quickly check the soldering performance and easily find damage that is otherwise difficult to see. The internal battery seems big enough to run for hours without issue. I've been using it every day for the last week with no problems. It comes with a wired remote control, which is essential for accurate photos, otherwise the button is on the same part as the microscope lens, but with steady hands, the remote control is not needed. These photos were taken with lots of zoom using the screenshot feature. You can actually magnify an image enough to see things that the naked eye cannot. It's not necessary for my use, but it's good to have on hand if I want to see something else, an enlarged diagram. The built-in lighting is sufficient for solo use, but the two LED bulbs on the base can be used when more light is needed. If you need magnification and want to see the image on the screen rather than through the lens, this device is for you. The microscope also comes with a calibration ruler that you can use but don't need for now. The base is made of metal along with a kickstand that provides good stable support for the screen.
