This is a well-made, accurate watch at an affordable price. I've used it twice on two different courses in Florida and compared it to another GPS unit and the readings were always within 1-2 yards in front of, on center and behind the green. It also reads the distance to obstacles, which is especially useful when trying to shoot over water. BUT one huge minus: it is EXTREMELY difficult to properly connect the charging cable to the contacts of the watch! Came back from the course yesterday and fiddled with it for 15 minutes before finally giving up for the night. The other device I have connects immediately and says it's charging properly. This Tec Tec Tec could certainly use a better loading system. Additionally, it doesn't last very long on a charge even if you're just using it as a watch. After the initial full charge, I found that the battery was almost completely drained within 48 hours of no golf use. So on your golf wrist, this is an inexpensive, relatively well-made gauge. Charging is a pain. UPDATE: 2/25/21 After checking the clock on 2/24. fully charged, the battery was completely empty this morning! Not used for golf. It was last used for golfing on February 23rd and fully charged yesterday. I think the battery is bad and I returned it today instead of asking for a replacement. Shame as it was accurate, easy to use and fit my wrist. But I had to go back.
