Review on 🍄 Inkbird IHC200 Humidistat Humidity Controller for Mushroom Greenhouse with Pre-Wired Outlet - Dual Stage Control for Humidifier and Dehumidifier by Dontra Majmudar

This device is very suitable for my purpose of controlling an adsorption dryer. I use this dryer in a large "box" I built to dry the harp decks I make. Before purchasing this controller, I was using a humidity/temperature controller that could be wall mounted in my home or office. This earlier controller didn't do a good job of measuring relative humidity inside a box or small room. To do this, I had to constantly compare its measured relative humidity with a separate small humidity/temperature meter, which seems to work very well and is fairly easy to check and adjust. This new humidistat is very intelligently designed and its relative humidity readings seem to agree very well with the small meter unlike the previous controller I used. It's also really nice that I can now have this controller OUTSIDE the box with the deck and desiccant dryer. It has a short cord with a socket to plug the dehumidifier into, but the moisture meter itself connects to the controller with a fairly long cord. I have a humidity meter in the box and the power cord for the desiccant dryer comes out of the box and connects to a short cord from this humidistat. This way I can easily check the relative humidity inside the box without opening the box (and thereby increasing the relative humidity). And you can set the controller to turn on automatically when the relative humidity is 1% to 5% above the desired relative humidity set on the controller. The only thing I don't like about this device is the TERRIBLE manual in English! Please hire people from the company in China that makes this controller, someone who can write in plain English PLEASE! Eventually you will understand the meaning of her almost meaningless instructions, but it will take time. Just so you know, your "differential" RH level refers to how much higher the target RH will be the actual RH before the device turns on. You can set this differential relative humidity level to 1-5% above the target relative humidity level.
