You must ensure that any devices you connect to it have on/off switches and no buttons: the device will provide power to any assigned output needed to maintain the humidity setpoint. I have purchased several Inkbird controllers for fermenting koji and sausages. Koji requires incubation at 90°F and 90% relative humidity. This unit is well made for the price and does the job of servicing a humidifier but there are 2 issues and one of them is a deal breaker. First, the humidity sensor drifts wildly and needs a positive 11% calibration to read it accurately, which isn't a huge problem as it's easily calibrated for an accurate reading.
