Review on ๐Ÿ„ Inkbird IHC200 Humidistat Humidity Controller for Mushroom Greenhouse with Pre-Wired Outlet - Dual Stage Control for Humidifier and Dehumidifier by Kendra Parker

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The humidity sensor is just not suitable for high humidity, on two separate devices.

I have purchased several Inkbird controllers for fermenting koji and sausages. Koji requires incubation at 90ยฐF and 90% relative humidity. In fact, the dual humidity/temperature sensor is not designed to work in such an environment. Within a few hours, it becomes inexorably wet and a loud signal sounds that reads "Er". Same problem with two separate models with the same floor sensor. Another model better suited for this use is the ITC-308, which actually has an immersion temperature sensor. This worked great for many days, although I didn't have the humidity control I experienced when I put a cup of salt water in the incubator for comfort.
