This is a large capacity tower type humidifier. The device is 28 inches tall. Its area on the floor is 8 x 8 inches. The tank is under the engine, so there is a pipe in the tank to supply water to the evaporator. To fill the reservoir, lift the engine block and pour water from the top. The LED display on the front shows you the current humidity in the room. The tank holds 2 gallons of water. Remote control included. There is also an essential oil drawer. This is a good humidifier for large living rooms or kitchens. Even in very cool and dry places, you can work 24 hours without filling the tank. There is no option to turn off the light on this unit, so you may not want to install it in the bedroom. I put mine in the kitchen so I don't have to walk as far with water jugs. The humidifier is quiet. Although the humidifier shows the humidity percentage as a number, the motor doesn't work by sensor, it only has 3 settings: low, medium, high, so you have to manually control the motor according to the ambient humidity, which is a problem, but at least it has those machine great power. All in all, this is a good, high-capacity humidifier if you don't mind manual operation.
