The edge comes off after one use

I hand washed it in lukewarm water and the edge came off after the first use. Underneath it doesn't look like an acacia. More like oak. I'm concerned that the trim might come loose in the lettuce. I can't believe they are made in Thailand. They're super cheap. I am very disappointed and will not be using it again. With these in the trash. I was looking for the best brand.
