The application I used the surgical suits for was after spaying. I with the am very unsatisfied with the workmanship and design of them. They DID NOT keep my dogs from getting to their surgical sites thus my dogs licked their incisions causing inflamation and infection. I had to purchase antibiotics for them costing even more money. The "velcro" strip tore off the suit. The fabric stretched when it got wet allowing the dogs to get to their surgery sites. I do not reccomend this surgical suit for use after a female spaying. They surely are not worth what I paid for them!
