After getting a 1:16 drift truck for one of my cousins, the brother got jealous so I got him this for his 13th B-day. We charged the battery up with the provided USB cable and after it was full topped off, we fired this thing up for the first time, all of taking turns with it (I got the shortest turn, go figure). While he is much more careful with the truck and more interested in learning the boundaries on the level 1 then ramping up later, the sister (a 11 year old), wasnt so patient and had a go at it at level 3, and scuffed the body up after tons of abuse. The truck features a Brushless powertrain, with 4 WD and 4 wheel suspension. A really good setup for getting away from the toy grade RC's out there. With this it has enough power, and fun to keep them using it outdoors, but not enough to destroy the thing the first time out. We really enjoyed our experience with this 1:18 scale truck as it was small enough drive anywhere yet big enough in performance and handling to really let loose and have a blast. My only wish was that it had a 2nd Lipo battery included, but everything else exceeded my expectations. It was a successful birthday for all of us. This thing is pretty durable considering the abuse it endured during a 20 min session, no issues at all. Great all around value for the under $100 entry level hobby grade 1:18 scale truck.
