I have a 19.5 year old Persian chinchilla who had a kidney removed due to cancer. She has certain ideas about what she wants to eat or consume and what not. I have tried other glucosamine/chondroitin products. I put them in her food and after a while she stopped eating because she knew they were there. I can inject this product with a small syringe to stop them from eating their food. It's chicken flavored, her favorite flavor. Apparently she likes it because she doesn't fight me when I give it to her and then lick her lips and fur. After about three days, I noticed that she was finding it easier to get in and out of the tray. She also started getting out of bed and walking more often. I told her vet about this product in case he could help her other clients with fussy cats. If you have a picky cat with mobility issues you can try this product to see if it helps.
