Ideal for adapting to an OBDII scanner. Otherwise it's useless.
2000 BMW has both a round BMW connector under the hood and an OBDII connector under the dashboard. The worst of both worlds. Both are useless apart from some basic parameters that BMW doesn't even want to define, let alone which causes multiple error lights and codes. Great car. Terrible owner support.
